Training

We rely purely on donations to keeps us going. Being a small charity means that every penny we get is ploughed straight into helping people who are struggling with bereavement. Whatever you can give will help someone, somewhere.

If you have an idea for a fundraising event please get in touch with us and we will publicise it on our website, Facebook and Twitter as well as in our newsletter.

We welcome any donations, from the smallest coffee morning to the bigger events such as concerts or large sponsored challenges. Nothing is too small!

Would your place of work like one of our Donation Boxes? just give us a call and we will get one delivered.

Another great way to support Penhaligon’s Friends is to ask for one of our Loose Change Boxes for use at home – collect up all those fiddly 5p pieces, or empty your pocket at the end of the day, or some even use it as a swear box, if you would like one of these posted to you, just give us a call.

Some people choose to ask for gifts to Penhaligon’s Friends on special events such as birthdays or anniversaries, while others choose to give to Penhaligon’s Friends to remember a loved one.

For help or advice please don’t hesitate to give our office a call on 01209 215889.

Put on an Event

Fundraising doesn’t have to be large-scale or complicated! Here’s an idea that anyone can start off with: “The expanding Coffee Morning” invite five friends round for coffee, charging them just £2 each. (that will raise £10 for Penhaligon’s Friends) Ask each of them to hold a coffee morning for five friends, again charging £2 each (that will raise a further £50 – 25 people times 2). Ask those 25 people to each hold a coffee morning for five of their friends and that will raise £250 – increasing your total to £310 !

We will gladly send you a fundraising pack with more ideas for raising money, just give us a call on 01209 215889.
