Accessing Our Support
We are always happy to offer advice and guidance over the telephone and you do not need to follow a lengthy process to access our support. It may just be a simple question that we can try to help answer or you may like to chat about something that is going on for your family or a child you know without accessing anything further. You may want some more intense support and we would be happy to talk to you about what suits your family best.
As a charity all of our support is offered at no cost.
Following a bereavement the types of support we can offer consists of home visits, individual support for children & young people, monthly parents groups, monthly teenage groups and the opportunities to attend our family days and one of our special memory days.
It doesn’t matter how long ago the bereavement happened, if your child is under 18 years old then you are welcome to get in touch with us.
The support we are able to offer when someone has been given, or is likely to be given, a terminal diagnosis is limited but we can offer some support to parent/carers and professionals on how to talk to a child and support their immediate needs.
Sometimes it is easier for the family if a professional refers them to us, once we receive a referral we aim to make contact with the family as soon as possible.
If you are a professional making a referral on behalf of a family then please download & read the most appropriate referral guidance and referral form below and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
