Gala Dinner
We need your support! We are hosting a dinner at St Mellion Hotel on Friday 23rd March with live entertainment from Johnny Cowling, local comedian. Tickets cost £45 to include a fabulous 3 course dinner in a beautiful location. The hotel are also offering discounted room prices for overnight accomodation. Conference 2012
We still have places left for our one day conference at St Mellion Hotel on Friday 23rd March. Speakers include David Trickey, Consultant Child Psychologist, Sir Al Aynsley Green and Katie Koehler from the Child Bereavement Charity. We will also be hearing from some of the young people that have been supported by Penhaligon’s Friends. It promises to be a great day, with representatives from agencies within the county and beyond attending. There will aslo be a market place, including book stall, throughout the day. Richard Lander Walk ~ Coffee Morning
April 20th to April 23rd 2012
The St Agnes Rotary Club in association with Richard Lander School are recreating the walk to London. They will be walking form Truro up to London with support vehicles following in their footsteps!
Come and join us at The Miners and Mechanics, St Agnes on Saturday 18th February for coffee and cakes to help raise funds for the challenge! Doors open from 9.30am, come and meet our very own Fudge Bear!

Arts & Crafts Competition
Truro Boscawen Girlguides are holding a Penhaligon Cup Arts and Crafts competition on Saturday 1st October at Truro Methodist Church. All entries will be on display from 10am and presentations for winner will be held at 11.30am. All proceeds from this event will come to Penhaligon’s Friends!

Conference 2012
Penhaligon’s Friends are holding a Conference at St Mellion Hotel on Friday 23rd March 2012. Confirmed speakers include David Trickey, Sir Al Aynsley Green and Katie Koehler from Child Bereavement Charity. Our own Break it Down teens group will also be talking to the delegates about their own experiences of accessing support. The cost of the conference is £90 to include lunch and all conference packs if you book before 16th December 2011. Penhaligons Day 2011
Our first Penhaligon’s Day on 10th June 2011 in schools across Cornwall was a huge success, the current total is £10,880.00. That’s an amazing amount, and we are delighted! A big thank you to all staff and students for their efforts. We had a ‘back to front clothes’ day, cake sales, non- uniform day, dance-a-thon, teddy bears picnics and a school pond named after us!
