Julie Parker Manager
Julie manages Penhaligon’s Friends as well as being involved with our Memory Days and some of the family support work. Julie deals with all our funding and fundraising. Her background prior to joining the charity includes working as a trained nursery nurse and with the NSPCC. Julie has been with the charity since 2006.
Julie lives in the north of the county with her partner and two boys. They have a wide range of animals and wildlife on their smallholding.
Becky Thomas Family Services Manager
Becky has been with the charity since 2009, she oversees the day to day service delivery of the Family Services Team and also works closely with education to ensure that the maximum support is offered to schools and children when faced with bereavement issues.
Becky lives in West Cornwall with her husband and four children. As foster carers their household is always busy and their French Bulldog, Delilah, adds to the entertainment!
Jane Lamming Family Services Support Worker
Jane is a member of our Family Services Team, supporting all areas of our service, particularly our teenage support groups in Newquay, Redruth, Penzance & St Austell.
Jane has worked for many years with Special Educational Needs children and more recently in a foster care home supporting young people.
At home, Jane runs a farm as a competition yard and spends her free time training and competing horses locally and nationally. Jane has 4 rescue dogs, 2 goats and 2 mad Siamese cats!
Polly Langford Family Services Support Worker
Polly works in a part time role for us as part of our Family Services Team. Polly joined our staff team after spending a number of year supporting us as a volunteer. Polly spends her time ensuring the smooth running of our Parents Groups and Memory Days and is one of the supportive voices on the end of the phone or visiting families at home.
Polly has spent many years working in Nursing and Health Visiting and brings a wealth of experience to our team. Polly lives in Mid Cornwall with her four young children, if this doesn’t already keep her busy enough she often takes on other challenges including the odd marathon run!
Sandy Richards Family Services Coordinator
Sandy is responsible for coordinating our caseload and supervising the wider team of staff and volunteers. Sandy is always a friendly voice on the end of the phone.
Sandy lives with her husband and children in an old farmhouse. At home, Sandy cares for her chickens called Eden and Isabella and bulldog Frank.
Jo Woollard Office Administrator
Jo works part time as our admin assistant contributing to all the office activities. She brings a wealth of experience and we value her calm, efficient and organised ways.
Chantal Worden Evans Volunteer Coordinator
Chantal works part time as our Volunteer Coordinator. She is the main contact for all new enquiries and delivers the volunteer training programme. Chantal also coordinates all of our fundraising events!
